Please follow these instructions when using the Data Center (AP) system.

NO TEXT FORMATING !!

IMPORTANT !

DO NOT COPY "FORMATTED TEXT" INTO SITE

The site administration system uses universal text formatting for the entire website.

You do not need to input text with additional formatting, such as FONT STYLE, FONT SIZE, or FONT COLOR.

If you copy text with formatting, it will alter the way the text will look on the website.


USE NOTEPAD (or other text editor) TO COPY TEXT INTO WEBSITE

MS Notepad - is a program that comes free with MS Windows.

The program is a "text-ony" text editor and if you copy text from this program, it will not contain any additional text formatting.

You can access MS NOTEPAD in MS Windows by going here:
Start Menu > Programs > Accessories > Notepad

If you can not locate this program icon, you can search for the program in by looking for the following file on your C:\ drive with the MS Windows "Search" function:
Notepad.exe

Your "Search" function is located here:
Start Menu > Search > For Files or Folders


NEW LINE = [Shift] + [Enter]

Web documents work differently than "Word" documents.

To move to a new line to enter text, use the following method:
[SHIFT] + [ENTER]
This will produce one line at a time.

Unsing only [ENTER] to move to a new line will produce a 2-3 line separation for a new "paragraph".
This can make your text look funny if you want text on consecutive lines.


BULLETS

You can add "Bullets" to text in the Active Publisher System, just like the Bullets below:

    * Simply copy your text into the appropriate TEXTBOX in the AP System
    * Select the text you would like to "Bullet"
    * Select the "Bullet" option icon from the toolbar
    * The AP System will automatically format your Bullet with the site's universal formatting.

LEAGUE SPONSOR BANNER ADS

We have just added a way for your league to earn revenue through the District 6 website.
Banner Ads have been placed on the bottom of every league page on the website that is
available for each league to sell and earn revenue.  This program, if successful, will help
our leagues earn an additional $6,000 per year through District 6.

BANNER ADVERTISEMENT
Standard Full Banner = 468 pixels by 60 pixels
Banner can "link" to sponsors website.

ANNUAL COST
$500.00 per year per league  ( YOU CAN SELL FOR LESS IF YOU WANT !!! )
( Payable to "Florida District 6 Little League" )

REVENUE
The revenue for the sale of your league's banner ad will be credited to your District 6 account
and will help pay your league's expenses with the District (All-Star Program Book Fees, Etc.)
Any amounts remaining after the season is over will be returned to your league from District 6.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
Sell your ad !
Let the DA know if you have sold your Banner Ad and we will work with you to get your sponsor's artwork for the banner ad, as well as where they would like the "link" to point.
Also let me know if you would like us (District 6) to assist you in selling your league's Banner Ad (we will let you know if we have an interested sponsor)
