We are working diligently to arrange our annual Umpire's Banquet, which is normally held in October each year. We are shooting for late October / early November for the banquet this year. The caterer has been selected and we are finalizing a venue for the even based on available dates.

NEWS FROM THE UIC
Well another wonderful year for District 6. 4 teams went to Regionals and 3 teams to the World Series. We can't ask for much more. I am proud to say that it was awesome being a part of a GREAT district. I want to Thank all the volunteer umpires that helped make this season so great.
We had 3 umpires do their regionals and I attended the Big League World Series. All umpires received wonderful marks and comments. Keep up the good work. My experience was above what I expected, so I would say all the games of the years were well worth the wait.
The Staff and I are working hard to complete the final details for the banquet. Details to follow very soon. I look forward to seeing you all this year.

District 6 & West Tampa is hosting an umpire clinic on Saturday Oct 11th @ 10 am @ West Tampa. CANCELLED please get with Mike G. for new date or attend the clinic listed below.
District 6 & Palma Ceia will host an umpire clinic on Nov 1 @ 10am @ Palma Ceia LL facility.
