Although Little League has announced the dates for the 2010 Little League World Series (all divisions), they have NOT posted the 2010 Tournament Calendar for District, Section, State, or Regional All-Star tournaments.

We will post the dates as soon as they are made available from Little League. Thank you for your continued patients... we are just as anxious as you are to know the dates !

It is with sadness that I report the loss today (11-10-2009) of Lou Caprara, a longtime ADA from our neighbor Florida District 12. Lou was a 50+ year Little League volunteer who was awarded the Commendation Award by Southern Region at the 2007 Little League Congress in Huston, TX. Please remember Lou and his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. For more information, please see the District 12 website via the "link" button.

Monthly Presidents & Staff Meeting - Date & Time
The monthly presidents meeting is for the FLD6 league presidents and VPs. Additional league staff may be required at certain meetings throughout the year. The monthly FLD6 Staff meeting is for all FLD6 District Staff members.

Providing a safe place for our children, off the streets and out of trouble, requires our leagues and District to reach-out to the families and businesses in our community and beyond to help raise the funds necessary to meet our substantial budgets.

Without these kind and generous contributions, our District and leagues could not operate. It is only through our fundraising efforts and your contributions that our programs continue each year.

If you can find a place in your heart and budget to help our programs continue, any amount will help.

Welcome to FLD6 from the District Administrator

Little League Florida District 6 helps over 1,000 unpaid volunteers in Tampa & Hillsborough County serve and provide baseball & softball programs for over 4,000 children (ages 4-18) annually.

As a Chartered Little League District, your Sponsorships and Contributions to FLD6 are tax-deductible to our non-profit organization.

Our budget goal is $50,000 per year and is 100% funded by the generosity of your CONTRIBUTIONS and SPONSORSHIPS. Our expenses range from Administration of the District (staff-presidents-coaches-rules meetings, website, eNewsletters, office supplies, etc.) to Tournament Operations for the Tournament of Champions and All-Stars (baseballs, softballs, trophies, medals, pins, score books, travel, team contributions, umpire assistance, etc.). If we do not meet our budget goal, it effects the level of service we can provide to the players, coaches, and leagues of FLD6.
